For versions prior to v4.0, please see Jetty Firmware - Setup Guide.Sailfish requires use of "ReplicatorG 39 - Sailfish" or later. This version of Sailfish may be obtained at Thing 32084. Use of "ReplicatorG 40" or "ReplicatorG 40 - Sailfish" is not recommended with one exception: to enable "Extruder Hold" for bots with 3mm filament extruders.Machine RequirementsThe Sailfish firmware described here runs on MightyBoard, Gen 4 and Gen 3 electronics. For Replicators, single and dual extrusion is supported.Replicator 1s: Makerbot MightyBoard revE or later electronics with one or two extruders.Thing-o-Matics: a Makerbot v2.X motherboard, a Makerbot v3.6 Extruder Controller, Makerbot v3.3 Stepper Drivers, a stepper-based extruder, and an Arduino Mega or Arduino Mega 2560. Other than the extruder, these are all "stock" Thing-o-Matic electronics; i.e., Gen 4 electronics. Stepper-based extruders include the Mk6, Mk6+, Mk7, and Mk8. Other electronics and extruders may or may not work with the Sailfish firmware.Cupcakes with Gen 4 electronics: As per the above.EXPERIMENTAL: Cupcakes with Gen 3 electronics: A 3G5D Shield or the "Ugly Cable Hack" is required in order to control a stepper-based extruder. Additionally, the remaining complement of Gen 3 electronics: RepRap Motherboard v1.2, Plastruder Extruder Controller, and v2.3 or later stepper drivers.Volumetric

Fantastic Four Sign in to your ScreenRant account Warning: contains spoilers for Avengers Forever #3! Marvel's new Thing of the Fantastic Four has merged with the six Infinity Stones to become the all-powerful Infinity Thing, but the former hero is no longer himself. Arguably the member of the Fantastic Four with the most tragic backstory, Benjamin Grimm is famously unable to "switch off" his powers, forever dooming him to live a life of loneliness and despair (at least, in his opinion). Avengers Forever #3 reveals the Thing has changed into yet another new and terrifyingly powerful form, turning him into Marvel's version of Doctor Manhattan. In Avengers Forever, Tony Stark is known as the Ant-Man, who invented Stark Particles (this universes' version of Pym Particles) to aid in his adventures around the world. He considers himself a freedom fighter, treasure hunter and explorer extraordinaire, and as such has gathered a team of Avengers to help save the multiverse from the clutches of the Black Skull. Among those superheroes is Ben Grimm - the Infinity Thing. Ben Grimm's usual orange rocky skin is now a multicolored crystalline surface, shining in every panel, and his eyes glow bright with power. Per Tony's narration, he searched the stars for anything that could help the planet in its hour of need. He "...came back as the Infinity Thing. As much as he ever came back at all." The Infinity Thing is ever-stoic and speaks in an oddly-clipped fashion, no longer retaining the Brooklyn accent

A ratio compares values. A ratio tells us how much of one thing there is compared to another. There are 3 blue squares to 1 yellow square Ratios can be shown in different ways: Use the ":" to separate the values: 3 : 1 Or we can use the word "to": 3 to 1 Or write it like a fraction: 31 All of these mean the same thing: 3 of the first thing for every 1 of the second thing. A ratio can be scaled up: Here the ratio is also 3 blue squares to 1 yellow square, even though there are more squares. Try it YourselfUse the slider below to create different ratios and see how they look.images/ratio-slider.jsCan you make a ratio of 5:2? How about 1:4?Using Ratios The key to working with ratios is to always multiply or divide both numbers by the same value. This keeps the relationship between the quantities the same. Example: 4 : 5 is the same as 4×2 : 5×2 = 8 : 10 Recipes Example: A Recipe for pancakes uses 3 cups of flour and 2 cups of milk. So the ratio of flour to milk is 3 : 2 To make pancakes for a LOT of people we need 4 times the quantity, so we multiply the numbers by 4: 3×4 : 2×4 = 12 : 8 In other words, 12 cups of flour and 8 cups of milk. The ratio is still the same, so the pancakes should be just as yummy. "Part-to-Part" and "Part-to-Whole" Ratios The examples so far have been "part-to-part" (comparing one part to another part). But a ratio can also show a part compared to the whole lot. Example: There are 5 pups, 2 are boys, and 3 are girls Part-to-Part: The ratio of boys to girls is 2:3 or 2/3 The ratio of girls to boys is 3:2 or 3/2 Part-to-Whole: The ratio of boys to all pups is 2:5 or 2/5 The ratio of girls to all pups is 3:5 or 3/5 Try It Yourself images/ratio.jsScaling We can use ratios to scale drawings up or down (by multiplying or dividing). The height to width ratio of the Indian Flag is 2:3 So for every 2 (inches, meters, whatever) of heightthere should be 3 of width. If we made the flag 20 inches high, it should be 30 inches wide. If we made the flag 40

Armadillos”), this should have been Alfredo Alcala’s debut as the new regular artist of the Man-Thing feature; as it turned out, however, Alcala would illustrate only one additional story of the character: “Tower of the Satyr!” in Man-Thing #14, which came out just a couple of weeks after Giant-Size Man-Thing #3. As best as I can determine, there was never an explanation offered for why the assignment didn’t last (though Alcala hardly lacked for work in the months that followed, as he continued his semi-regular duties on Savage Sword of Conan in addition to taking on a new gig drawing movie adaptations for Planet of the Apes, plus having his work continue to appear in such DC titles as Weird War Tales and Unexpected — making him one of the relatively few artists of this era whose work regularly appeared in comics from both major American publishers). But while we might regret the Alcala Man-Thing stories we didn’t get to see, we can still be grateful for the two we did — most especially for GSMT #3’s “The Blood of Kings!” which, while it might not represent Steve Gerber’s most profound work on this feature, remains a highly entertaining read, and a worthy sequel to the “Palace of the Gods” two-parter from Fear #19 and Man-Thing #1.Of course, it would have been even more fun if the conclusion of “The Blood of Kings!” had led right into the other sequel to Fear #19/Man-Thing #1 that had been originally announced for this issue — the return of the believed-dead-but-actually-still-quite-alive former comrade-in-arms of Manny, Jen, Korrek, and Dakimh — Howard the Duck, that is — in a new nine-page story, written by Gerber and illustrated by Frank Brunner, entitled “Frog Death!”. But, as a note from Gerber on the letters page of
