Yes, there is an easier way. Play the Capture tracks back to your mixer, make a nice mix-down and record the stereo sum (master) of each song in Capture again (tracks 25+26). If you mix 20 songs like this, you will find 20 WAV files (Stereo) in your recording folder, which need to be named (titles of the songs). If you are using Studio One Pro you can master those mixdowns and "publish" them as MP3 files or any format you choose. Or you convert the files from WAV to MP3 in an appropriate program. Capture can only handle WAV files. It is indeed a problem, that you can spend a lot of time on mixing the songs. Musicians tend to not listen to the songs/mixdowns very carefully, so try to keep your work and time as reduced as possible. Another "trick" is to mix only two or three songs and see if there really is a need for more. ;-) Part 1. Mix Two Songs Together for Free; Part 2. How to Mix Two Songs Together on iTunes Part 3. 2025-04-02Level.It can be harder to mix a crowded song than a minimalistic one when we want to mix from a minimalistic song. The energy level difference between a crowded song and a minimalistic song can be too much.To make mixing easier, we can make the difference between a crowded song and a minimalistic song less big by mixing to a song that is between minimal and crowded.Mixing from a crowded song to another crowded song can also be harder than mixing from a crowded song to a minimal song. It can be harder since two crowded songs on top of each other can sound too crowded, like chaos.Time SignatureAs far as I know, every song has a time signature, and the most common time signature is 4/4 (common time).Wikipedia mentions that a time signature is a notational convention used in Western musical notation to define each bar’s number of beats and the note value of a beat. When looking at time signatures, the easiest way to mix two songs is probably always when they have the same time signature since the mixing can misalign the beats of the songs, which can sound bad. So we can make the mixing harder by mixing songs in a different time signature.Techno Song Examples for Practicing MixingHere are some techno songs that can be good for practicing mixing as a DJ. I sorted these songs by one characteristic that can make themixing harder, but these songs still can have multiple characteristics.Techno Songs by Tempo of at Least 140 BPMHere are some techno songs of at least 140 BPM chosen by me.A 144 BPM song in the key G minor: Basic Channel – Phylyps Trak A 140 BPM song in the key E minor: Farrago – Risin’ (Kobosil Apathy Remix) A 145 BPM song in the key D minor: Nico Moreno – Purple Widow A 146 BPM song in the key A minor: AnD – Move Your Body A 148 BPM song in the key E minor: Drax – Interior Techno Songs with Vocal Non-Percussion ElementsHere are some techno songs with well hearable and important vocals
