It has 2 wireless transmitters (picture attached), one of which plugs onto an ethernet outlet on the router, and the other is connected to a netgear router mounted near the alarm box. I have tried to connect the one that plugs into the router (the deco) in 2 different routers and it never shows up as a wired device. I also have a Chamberlain garage door controller that plugs into the router and it works fine. It shows up as a wired device. Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated. The Chamberlain adapter is plugged into the main deco, not the netgear router. The Netgear adapter is plugged into a different deco. I only moved to to see if it would work in a different deco. It was originally plugged into the main. It works in neither. I am 99% sure the system is in wireless router mode. I'm not sure how to check that in the app, but I seem to remember that being the default, or Access point didn't sound right to me. If it helps, the main deco is plugged into my Xfinity modem, set to bridge mode.
